30 round 5.56 NATO magazine engineered as an enhancement of the standard STANAG design. The MFT stipple texture, low profile front ribs and flared floor plate aid in extraction and handling. The floor plate provides drop protection, has a paint pen dot matrix area for easy identification marking and is compatible with tight double and triple magazine pouches. Two fully functional drain holes ensure full and proper draining. Simple toolless disassembly with double floor plate safety release tabs allows user to safely release spring tension during disassembly and quick ammo dumps. Long-life steel spring and four-way anti-tilt follower ensure reliable feeding. Oversized bolt catch notch in the rear of the magazine provides enhanced reliability of the bolt catch operation. Quality and consistency are ensured by using a specially developed, reinforced and super tough polyamide.

.300 Blackout vs. 5.56 NATO Disclaimer
While .300 AAC Blackout (also known as 300 BLK) and 5.56 NATO cartridges are designed for use in AR-style rifles, they are not interchangeable and must never be confused or cross-loaded. Firing a .300 Blackout round in a 5.56 NATO chamber can result in catastrophic failure, as the larger diameter of the .300 BLK bullet may not fit properly in the 5.56 barrel—leading to a barrel obstruction and potentially serious injury or damage.
Though both cartridges can be used with similar bolt carrier groups and magazines, it is critical that shooters take extreme care when switching between calibers, especially when using rifles with interchangeable uppers or multi-caliber setups.
Always verify the ammunition you are loading matches the markings on your barrel and upper receiver. Mixing up .300 Blackout and 5.56 NATO can lead to dangerous malfunctions, injury, or death. When in doubt, double-check.

Give It A Try; Great Affordable STANAG Improvement
The first appeal of this magazine is price point, but that by no means make it "cheap." Quality is on par with any other name brand out there; tight tolerances, ease of disassembly & maintenance, and ergonomics make this design competitive. The anti-tilt follower is effective, it seats securely in my Stag, and the slim low-profile base is great for stacking mags in pouches.

YOU GUYS ROCK!
I have a private range and am able to shoot A LOT. I have several standard mags and several extreme duty mags. No failures, no issues, complete confidence in my magazines. Had a QUESTION ( not a FAILURE ) for MFT and their Customer Service was outstanding. Highly recommended.

Great Mags
I got two of these magazines when I made a purchase at palmetto state armory. I have used them every time I gone to the range and I have zero problems with them. I have used the mags with both 5.56 and 300 Blk Out

Great performing Mags
These mags are great, light weight, easy to take down for cleaning and you just can’t kill them. Trust me I’ve been trying to miss handle one of these mags in a lot of different ways, water, dirt, sand. I just bang them out and we’re good to go. Great products from MFT.

Best mag for the price, hands down
Its a mag that can fit 31 rounds so that you never have an issue loading a 30 round mag into a closed bolt. Truly amazing (you will struggle with loading a 31-rd mag on closed bolt though). All this in conjunction with a rugged magazine (which amazes me because they also made an even more durable one), flared mag floor (seriously I never knew a mag needed this until MFT), and super easy spring assembly takedown for ammo dump or maintenance. MFT, if any of your reps read this review, just know that as long as you make these, I'll never buy another PMAG again. I'm MFT for life after this mag.

Recent AR owner. I found these on sale for $10 each. Shop person recommended them. Loaded them up and they ran just fine. I'll be buying more.
